  Chaweng Beach is located on the Eastern side of Koh Samui. Many   visitors consider this Beach to be the largest attraction on the island.   Chaweng Beach is in fact long enough that it can be divided into   three sections. North Chaweng beach is about a kilometer and a half   long facing the nearby island of Koh Matlang. Hat Chaweng, or the main beach, continues south to the natural rock and stream break to the south.
